Day 1 : Welcome to Kuala Lumpur

Upon arrival to KLIA, our representative will transfer you to your boutique hotel for refreshment. Your day is free to discover this exciting city on your own. Those who love nature will enjoy wandering through the Perdana Botanical Gardens while foodies will find their culinary heaven in Jalan Alor, a strip of hawker-styled outdoor restaurants serving up noodles, BBQ, seafood, desserts, and other delicious delights.

Day 2 : Tour the top sights of Kuala Lumpur

Explore Kuala Lumpur’s main attractions with a guide this morning. Hear the call to prayer and admire the blue-green tiled roof and 73-m high minaret of the National Mosque, a powerful symbol of the national religion in this multicultural country.

Continue on to Merdeka Square, where the country first proclaimed its independence from British colonial rule in 1957. Admire the largest flagpole in the world and the beautifully preserved colonial buildings in the area before browsing for trinkets and souvenirs at the large Central Market.

Head over to the city’s favourite neighbourhood, Chinatown, for a delicious local lunch and to browse the unique stalls offering bargains on any product. The tour ends in the Kuala Lumpur City Center in the afternoon, where you will see the iconic Petronas Towers, Menara KL Tower, and the lush KLCC Park.

Day 3 : Get a taste of Malaysian culture in the Batu Caves and Malaysian Batik Center

Journey to the historical holy site of the Batu Caves on a scenic 16 km drive outside of Kuala Lumpur to learn more about the cultures and traditions of Malaysia. The complex is made up of 3 big limestone caves as well as a few smaller ones containing Hindu shrines and sculptures, including the tallest statue in the world, a depiction of Lord Murugan.

After you have finished wandering around the caves, pass by the Malaysian Batik Center to see how traditional fabrics are weaved by hand and the Selangor Pewter Factory to learn more about traditional pewter arts.

Return to Kuala Lumpur in time for lunch and an afternoon free for leisure.
