Day 1 : Welcome to Singapore

Upon arrival to Changi Airport, our representative will transfer you to your boutique hotel for refreshment. Your afternoon visit of the city takes you to the beautiful Gardens by the Bay. Made up of several different indoor and outdoor gardens, such as the Flower Dome, Cloud Dome, and Super-Tree Grove just to name a few, it’s no wonder why the Gardens by the Bay are the most popular attraction in the city. The OCBC Skyway also holds remarkable views of the gardens, city, and the sea. Wander in the gardens until sunset to enjoy the fascinating Sound and Light Show before checking out the Singaporean favorite, Satay by the Bay, for delicious dinner options.

Stroll along the Marina Bay Waterfront Promenade for excellent city-views before returning to your hotel for a restful slumber.

Day 2 : Savor different kinds of Chinese teas and traditional snacks at the Tea Chapter, Singapore

Start the morning in Singapore’s iconic Chinatown, a wonderful testament to Singapore’s vibrant and thriving Chinese culture. Visit the Chinatown Heritage Center to understand the history and influence of Chinese culture on the city and sample different kinds of Chinese teas and traditional snacks at the Tea Chapter. Then, pop into the Baba House to view furniture and artifacts set up inside the house of a merchant family from the 19th and 20th centuries.

Feast on lunch at Maxwell’s Hawker Center, famous for Singaporean specialties like Tian Tian Chicken, dim sum, and laksa noodles. The afternoon continues with a visit to the Buddha Tooth Relic Temple, a beautiful temple rich in history and art. Check out the Buddhist Culture Museum on the third floor to see 300 Buddhist artifacts from all over Asia.

Enjoy an afternoon at leisure to explore the colorful alleys filled with spices, oils, traditional medicines, fabrics, and astrologers in Little India. For those interested in learning about religion, visit the Sri Veeramakaliamman Temple to catch a glimpse of Hindu rituals.

In the evening, try a Singapore Sling from one of the many rooftop bars available in the city, and enjoy a mouth-watering dinner on Dempsey Hill Road before browsing the many cute boutiques along the street.

Day 3 : Go shopping in Orchard Street, Singapore

Head to Arab Street bright and early this morning and hear the call to prayer gently fill the air as you admire brightly colored textiles and smell exotic spices. Your morning is free to explore the Singapore National Museum or shop ‘till you drop on Orchard Street before your transfer to Changi Airport for an afternoon flight to the traditional and cultural heart of Vietnam, Hanoi.

Relax at your boutique hotel in the center and have an evening at leisure.

Day 4 : A day tour to explore the long-standing history of Hanoi

Start your morning by diving into the history of Hanoi by visiting Vietnam’s first university, Quoc Tu Giam, otherwise known as the Temple of Literature. Afterwards, visit the iconic one pillar pagoda and Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, a monument and tribute to Ho Chi Minh, the “uncle” of modern Vietnam, as well as his preserved stilt house and a small museum dedicated to his life. The mausoleum is closed every October and November, as well as every Monday and Friday throughout the year.

After lunch immerse yourself in the sights and sounds around Hoan Kiem Lake by visiting Ngọc Sơn Temple and viewing the “Turtle Tower”.

Finish the tour in the labyrinth of streets dubbed the “Old Quarter”, famous to international guests and locals alike due to its propensity for its chaotic but photogenic and charming nature.

Day 5 : Take the 500 stairs to the top of Hang Mua and enjoy a picturesque mountainside spot

Leave the hustle and bustle of Hanoi and journey 2 hours south to the quaint countryside town of Ninh Binh. This area has recently risen to fame as it was used for the shooting of the Hollywood blockbuster hit “Kong: Skull Island” in 2017.

Ninh Binh is well-known to locals for its lush valleys, mysterious grottoes and craggy karst limestone formations, and is often referred to as “Halong Bay on Land”. Take a romantic boat ride through dreamy Van Long, enjoying the beautiful landscapes and unique rowing techniques.

Lunch at a local restaurant before taking the 500 stairs to the top of Hang Mua, a picturesque mountainside spot with a cave and beautiful panoramic view of the surrounding area, dotted with karst mountains and sparkling rice fields.

Return to Hanoi in the late afternoon.

Day 6 : Visit a floating fishing village, kayak and swim in Halong Bay

Following breakfast, head 2.5 hours east to Halong Bay. Established as a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1994 and newly nominated as one of the new 7 natural wonders of the world, Halong Bay’s otherworldly atmosphere and landscape of emerald green waters, sandy beaches, and thousands of towering limestone karst islands are sure to leave you speechless.

Check into your cabin as we embark on an overnight cruise to experience the bay in all her glory. Activities include cooking demonstrations, a visit to a floating fishing village, kayaking and swimming, depending on the boat’s itinerary and weather.

At the end of the day, the boat will anchor while guests enjoy the cocktail happy hour and a fresh seafood dinner. Try your hand at squid fishing in the evening or perhaps watch a film or stargaze before retiring to your cabin for a restful sleep.

Day 7 : Float the paper lanterns into the river in Hoi An

Good Morning Vietnam from the middle of Halong Bay! Start the morning with some tai chi on the sundeck as the sun rises, and munch on a light breakfast before participating in a cave visit.

Brunch will be served after the cave tour, which gives you time to savor the views as the boat gently glides through the incredible rock formations towards the dock.

Disembark from the cruise and transfer to Hanoi Airport, where we will take a late afternoon flight  south to the charming ancient town of Hoi An.

Enjoy an evening at leisure in Hoi An as the city comes alive with lanterns glowing and children offering tourists paper lanterns to set into the river to make a wish for $1. The smell of street food wafting along the alleys will tempt you to try every central province dish that is on display, particularly Banh Bao Vac, a type of secret recipe dumpling, or the delicious Vietnamese wontons.

Day 8 : Stroll along Chinese shops and French colonial houses in Hoi An

After breakfast, explore the UNESCO World Heritage site of Hoi An Ancient Town. Hoi An is a very cute and well-preserved town, known for its importance in Vietnam’s history as a major port city from the 15th to 19th century. Take a walking tour through the ancient town, admiring the diverse architecture styles, ranging from wooden Chinese shops to grand French colonial houses, traditional Vietnamese “tube” houses and the iconic Japanese covered bridge. The city is also famous for its many brightly colored and delicately painted lanterns which hang in droves on many different shop walls and doors.

The afternoon is free for you to explore. Check out the wide variety of tailors available throughout the city, shop for ready-made clothing, shoes, bags, quilts, accessories and souvenirs, or sip tea in charming tea houses.

Day 9 : A day tour to visit the quintessential attractions in Hue

Drive up the sun-drenched coastline of Vietnam along the Hải Vân – Ocean Cloud Pass, through verdant hills, sleepy coastal fishing villages, and hidden beaches to the ancient imperial capital of Hue.

The day tour will visit the quintessential attraction of the city, Thien Mu Pagoda, the ancient citadel and the tombs of Emperor Ming Mang and Emperor Khai Dinh of the Nguyen Dynasty, the last family to rule Vietnam before the French colonial takeover.

In the late afternoon, return to your Hoi An hotel and have the evening free at leisure.

Day 10 : Catch an afternoon flight to Siem Reap

Savor your last Vietnamese moments and enjoy a relaxing free day.  Beach lovers can check out My Khe or An Bang Beach and history enthusiasts can explore the ruins at My Son.

Check out of your hôtel in the late afternoon and transfer to Da Nang International Airport for a quick afternoon 2-hour flight to the Kingdom of Wonder, Cambodia.

Upon arrival to Siem Reap, the gateway to Angkor Wat, transfer to your beautiful, boutique hotel and have the evening free to discover Siem Reap on your own. Siem Reap is home to many great restaurants, shopping opportunities, and spa treatments to indulge in.

Day 11 : A tour to discover the Angkor Archaeological Park

Today marks the day you have been waiting for, a tour of the Angkor Archaeological Park. One of the most important historical sites in the entire region of Southeast Asia, the city of Temples will surely amaze and astound even the most experienced traveller.

Built between the 9th-15th centuries, each complex was at one point the capital of the Khmer empire.  Your tour will begin at Angkor Thom, famous for its carved faces pointing out in either direction on top of massive, 75 ft (23 m) towers. Within is the mysterious Bayon Temple, the Mona Lisa of Southeast Asia, located at the exact center of Angkor Thom, with a total of 216 carved faces.

Stops will also include the Elephant Terrace and the Leper Terrace before moving on to the popular Ta Prohm, recognizable from the film Tomb Raider.

After a local lunch, visit the magnificent Angkor Wat. In the afternoon sun, it seems as if the entire complex is sparkling. This masterpiece is the largest city in the Angkor Park and is considered one of the best preserved ancient monuments in the world due to its perfect composition, balance and artistic design.

  • This is a fairly fast paced itinerary, covering major highlights of Singapore, Vietnam and Cambodia in just under 2 weeks. Be sure to book extra time in Singapore or Siem Reap if you want more time to explore these cities
