By actively supporting community-based projects in Southeast Asia with both local and international development organizations, like the UNDP project in Chambok outside of Phnom Penh and the Ha Long Bay and Cat Ba alliance in Vietnam, Mundo Asia helps local communities while providing visitors with an in-depth cultural exchanges.

We regularly check our suppliers to ensure they match our high-standards, such as making sure our cruise partners use safety measures to protect the environment from further pollution and supporting wildlife in sanctuaries like the Tam Dao Bear Rescue in Vietnam. In addition, we are committed to reducing our impact on our surroundings by participating in community clean-ups and utilizing walking, bicycle, and electric car tours whenever possible.

We support a number of local and regional charities in our destination countries, giving back a portion of our profits from each trip to assist in the education and safety of marginalized groups throughout Asia. We support the Mekong Initiative to prevent the spread of infectious diseases as well as the sponsoring of children from Enfants du Mekong to have access to quality education across 7 countries. We also support local organizations in our area such as KOTO and Blue Dragon Children’s Foundation in Ha Noi with fundraising and donation drives.
