Day 1 : Welcome to Luang Prabang
Upon arrival to Luang Prabang Airport, our representative will transfer you to your charming hotel for refreshment.
Your afternoon visit of the city will include stops at Wat Xieng Thong, Wat Visoun, the Melon Stupa and Wat Aham before beginning a leisurely climb up Mount Phousi to catch the radiant sunset. The tour will conclude at the daily night market where you can peruse all the local handicrafts on display.

Day 2 : Check out Pak Ou Caves and Kuang Si Waterfalls
Board a slow boat and lazily journey up the river to Pak Ou Caves, stopping along the way to visit the Lao Whisky Village to see the process of how villagers make the potent Lau Lao, a special type of whiskey made from rice. Continue on to Pak Ou where a thousand Buddha images are kept. After visiting the cave, return downstream to Luang Prabang for a typical Lao lunch.
After lunch, drive 1-hour south through the dense forest to visit the magical Kuang Si Waterfalls. En route, a stop will be made at a colourful ethnic Hmong Village to learn about one of the 49 recognized ethnic groups in the area.

Day 3 : Time to say good-bye
Rise before the sun and take part in the iconic tradition of Luang Prabang, offering alms to a long line of monks in dusky saffron robes at Ban Vat Sean.
After the ceremony, transfer back to the hotel to have your own breakfast before checking out of the hotel. Visit the Royal Palace before returning to the airport for your booked onward travel.

About this tour
- This itinerary is a privately guided tour through some of Luang Prabang’s major historical attractions and cultural activities
- Laos is a conservative country so take care to pack loose, lightweight, long clothing to be respectful and keep cool in the predominantly hot climate
- An airport arrival and departure transfer is included. Please provide your flight details at the time of booking, or at a minimum of 15 days prior to travel
- Please ensure your passport has a minimum of 6 months validity remaining at the time of your departure and that the name on your passport matches the name on your booking and airline tickets
