Day 1 : Siem Reap arrival

Chum Reap Suor and welcome to the Kingdom of Wonder, Cambodia. Upon arrival to Siem Reap Airport, our representative will greet you and transfer you to your luxury Belmond La Résidence d’Angkor hotel in the city.

Enjoy the day free at leisure to explore this quaint town’s markets, spas, boutique shops, and museums.

Day 2 : Siem Reap- Beng Mealea – Siem Reap

Travel to the mysterious Beng Mealea Temple by jeep this morning and explore the ruins wrapped in the lush, green jungle. The “lost” temple is covered in Hindu and Buddhist motifs just as much as it has been reclaimed by the vines and shrubs of the forest.

Return to town to have lunch at your leisure around Pub Street before continuing the day’s adventures with a 2-hour quad bike (ATV) tour exploring the countryside and local villages outside of Siem Reap.

After freshening up at your hotel, enjoy the evening highlight, a ticket to the Cambodian Circus, Phare.  This Cambodian NGO association has been improving the lives of children, young adults, and their families with art schools, educational programs, and social support since 1994. Watch the captivating combination of ancient myths, contemporary dance and acrobatics used to share the local culture with you.

Day 3 : Siem Reap - Angkor Archaeological Park – Siem Reap

Meet Cambodia’s epic past with a tour of the Angkor Archaeological Park. One of the most important historical sites in the entire region of Southeast Asia, the City of Temples will surely amaze and astound even the most experienced traveller.

Built between the 9th-15th centuries, each complex was at one point the capital of the Khmer empire.  Your tour will begin with a sunrise champagne picnic breakfast at Angkor Wat, the masterpiece of Angkor Park, often considered one of the best preserved ancient monuments in the world. Carry on by bicycle to Angkor Thom, famous for its carved faces pointing out in either direction on top of massive 75 ft. (23 m) towers. Within is the mysterious Bayon Temple, the Mona Lisa of Southeast Asia, located at the exact center of Angkor Thom, with a total of 216 carved faces.

Stops will also include the Elephant Terrace, the Leper Terrace, before moving on to the popular Ta Prohm, recognizable from the film Tomb Raider.

Return to the magnificent Angkor Wat. In the afternoon sun, it seems as if the entire complex is sparkling. Depart from the park in the early afternoon or stay to see the beautiful sunset and return to your hotel in the early evening.

Day 4 : Siem Reap – Sihanoukville

Enjoy a morning at leisure until an early afternoon flight to Sihanoukville, the country’s premiere beachside destination. From Sihanoukville, our driver will bring you to your boutique beachside accommodation to complete the check-in process. Have the day free to enjoy your plush surroundings in style.

The day is free to appreciate the many services, on-site activities, and amenities of your boutique accommodation. Lay on the beach, swim in the beautiful pool, snorkel in the warm sea, or indulge in world-class spa treatments.

Day 6 : Sihanoukville

Enjoy another day free at leisure to unwind and relax in paradise. Optional activities include a day-trip to the stunning Koh Rong or Koh Rong Samloem, located 45 minutes away by speedboat, for some island fun and snorkeling/diving opportunities.

Day 7 : Sihanoukville – Ream National Park - Kampot

Today’s day-trip is an exploration of Ream National Park, one of seven national parks in Cambodia, made up of not only the Sihanoukville Peninsula but also 21 outlying islands. Filled with rivers, estuaries, beaches, coral reefs, rainforests, and mangroves, there is so much to see and discover here.

Board a small wooden boat and journey down the bright green Ream River into the park, enjoying views of the mangrove forests and the sounds of over 155 species of birds singing from the trees. A gentle 3 km trek will take you through small villages, gleaming Khmer pagodas, local houses, and schools before arriving to a deserted beach perfect for a seafood lunch.

Return to the park entrance and complete the 30-minute journey to the sleepy riverside town of Kampot.

Day 8 : Kampot

Hop into a tuk-tuk and discover what Kampot is so famous for today, spices! First stop is a salt farm to learn about the importance of the salt industry to the local Kampot community. Next visit the well-known pepper industry at a pepper plantation to learn about the different varieties cultivated in the country. Walk through rice fields and gain first-hand knowledge on traditional methods used by Khmer farmers to cultivate their crops, before swimming in the Secret Lake, established through hard labor under the Khmer Rouge regime, and visiting a Phnom Chhnork, a historical cave temple.

Then take an afternoon 3-hour walking tour of the city to explore numerous historical sites including old villas and shop houses along Kampot River, the Old Market, the Red Cross Building, and the French Governor’s House. As the sun begins to set fireflies fill the air and trees, creating a truly magical moment.

Day 9 : Kampot

Take a one-hour journey outside of Kampot  to the Khmer Roots Café where the owners of the organic farm teach you how to prepare 2 Khmer dishes, such as Fish Amok, Massaman Curry and Banana Flower Salad. Wander around the farm collecting the ingredients and enjoy the experience of interacting with locals and seeing how rural family businesses operate.

Return to Kampot after lunch and have the rest of your day free at leisure.

Day 10 : Kampot – Kep

A 45-minute drive out of Kampot this morning brings you to the lovely seaside town of Kep. A bygone era ago, Kep was called Kep-sur-Mer—and it was the premiere beach getaway for French colonials and Cambodian high society. Drive past abandoned colonial villas, iconic crab shacks, and the beautiful Mermaid statue which keeps guard of the town before checking in to your boutique accommodation and enjoying the rest of the afternoon free at leisure.

Day 11 : Kep

Enjoy your day in Kep free at leisure to relax on the beach or by the infinity swimming pool. Optional day excursions include a visit to the rustic shores of Rabbit Island, located 4.5 km off the coast of Kep. The island is blissfully undeveloped, making for an idyllic adventure to the past while exploring the beaches and snorkeling in the shallow turquoise seas. Enjoy a freshly prepared BBQ seafood picnic lunch before returning to your Kep accommodation in the afternoon.
