Pick at your hotel at 09:00 and dive into the history of Hanoi by visiting the iconic One Pillar Pagoda, designed to resemble a blooming lotus flower, commissioned by the legendary King Ly Thai Tho in 1049. Just a stone’s throw away lies the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, a monument and tribute to Ho Chi Minh, the “uncle” of modern Vietnam, as well as his preserved stilt house and a small museum dedicated to his life.

Pass by Vietnam’s first university, known as the Temple of Literature. The grounds offer a quiet oasis in the center of Hanoi and will show you an interesting glimpse into the cultural elite’s past, dating back from 1076.

Continue The Vietnam Museum of Ethnology, everything is displayed clearly labeled in English, French, and Vietnamese, with guides available at the main entrance for those who want to hear more in-depth information.

Brave the labyrinth of streets dubbed the “Old Quarter”, famous to international guests and locals alike due to its chaotic but photogenic and charming nature. 2. Ninh Binh Full day with Tam Coc and Mua Cave & Temple

Itinerary

Set off from your hotel at 8.00 am for a day trip to Hoa Lu, one of the most famous sites of Vietnam for its historical remnants and impressive limestone peaks, which gives it the name “Terrestrial Halong”.

We start visiting the temples of two Dinh Kings dating back to the 10th century located in Hoa Lu then and pass by Bich Dong temple.

Later, transfer to Mua Cave, a picturesque mountainside spot with a cave and beautiful panoramic view of the surrounding area, dotted with karst mountains and sparkling rice fields.

You will go step onto a sampan to travel to the caves of Tam Coc (“the three lagoons”), nestled in the middle of an aquatic landscape and gigantic rock formations. After the boat ride, you will return to Hanoi to arrive at the end of the day around 17.00

3. Halong Bay one day excursion trip

A day cruise Halong Bay which is one of the most beautiful landscapes in Vietnam, with its giant rock islets covered in luxuriant vegetation overlooking the waters. This scene creates a spectacular marine landscape and known as UNESCO World Heritage status in 1994.

Itinerary

Depart for Halong Bay at 08:30 and takes around 2,5 hours. Embark on the cruise and enjoy some light refreshments while the boat heads toward the mystifying landscapes in the famous Unesco World Heritage Site.

Savor lunch on board and take in the stunning scenery of the famous Flight Cocks Islet, Thien Cung cave and Dau Go cave along the way.

The excursion is the magnificent Sung Sot cave offering panoramic views across the Bay. This is the largest cave in Halong Bay with stalactites and stalagmites formed over millions of years.

Transfer back at the harbor and return to Hanoi, arrive in Hanoi at around 19:00.

4. Full Day City Hue with Imperial Citadella

Pick at your hotel at 09:00 and dive further into the history of Vietnam by visiting the ancient citadel plus two addition tombs of emperors of the Nguyen Dynasty, the last family to rule Vietnam before the French colonial takeover. Although the ancient citadel was badly damaged by the Vietnamese-American War, it is still possible to catch a glimpse of what used to exist here hundreds of years ago in the Forbidden Purple City.

5. My Son & Hoian Ancient Town full day tour

7. Cu Chi and Ho Chi Minh city tour

Pick at your hotel at 09:00 and settle in for a 2-hour car ride this morning to the small town of Ben Tre where we will board our day-cruise to explore the Mekong River Delta, the rice bowl of Asia. Enjoy the landscapes of fertile fields showcasing Vietnam’s natural riches and resources of lush, bright green rice paddies on board the boat while snapping photos of the maze of rivers, mangroves, islands, and swamps.

The final activity of the day will involve a mini-trip on a sampan, a smaller traditional rowing boat, to better explore the narrow waterways of the Mekong tributaries.

12. One day in Luang Prabang with Elephant Village and Kuang Si Waterfall

Pick at your hotel at 08:00 and drive to Elephant Village just outside of Luang Prabang. Here is a chance to meet Asian elephants and hear personal stories of how they have been rescued from abusive situations. It is also an opportunity to learn about the work the Elephant Village does to make sure these gentle creatures can get the treatment and respect they need.

Throughout the day, get up and close with the elephants as you feed, bathe, and play with them after a short training course from a Mahout.

After that visiting the magical Kuang Si Waterfalls, incredible to behold due to the fluorescent natural color of the fresh water collected in the tide pools. En route, a stop will be made at a colourful ethnic Hmong Village to learn about one of the 49 recognized ethnic groups in the area.

13. Full day Pak Ou & Kuang Si Waterfall

You will visit the Royal Palace built in 1866 and see the Silver Pagoda located within the Royal Palace compound, The majority of treasures on display have been supplied by the King of Cambodia and include gifts from various other countries. Among the treasures is a solid gold Buddha, weighing 90 kilos and encrusted with 9,584 diamonds as well as a small 17th-century emerald and baccarat crystal Buddha.

Visit the National Museum built in 1917-1918 and which is exclusively dedicated to Khmer arts. There are many artifacts, made of sandstone, bronze, silver, copper, wood, ceramic and other materials from the Pre-Angkor as well as Angkor Period on display.

Continue to Wat Phnom, an ancient pagoda standing atop a hill, built by a wealthy Khmer woman named Penh in 1372 to house sacred relics.

15. One day Vientiane city tour

Pick at your hotel at 09:00 and our visit will take you to the key sites: Wat Sisaket the city’s oldest surviving temple with thousands of silver and porcelain images in the gloriously authentic temple compound that offers you a glimpse into the Vientiane of the past, the next stop is Haw Phra Kaeo. This large temple is beautiful both interior and exterior, it was built to house the famed Emerald Buddha in courtyards filled with frangipani trees.

Next is the visit Pha That Luang, the giant golden stupa is a sight to see as the bright gold holds a sharp contrast to the pure blue sky.

Then you will go to climb the Arc De Triomphe of Laos, Patuxai. The massive arch has a beautiful mosaic tiled ceiling and once at the top you can see for miles around Vientiane.

In the afternoon we take a half day tour to Buddha Park, is a sculpture park located 25 km southeast from Vientiane. End of tour at 17:30.

16. Halong Bay 2 days 1 night with Bhaya cruise

Pick up at your hotel in Hanoi between 8.30 and 9 am for 3 hours drive to Halong Bay. Upon arrival, check into your cabin as we embark on an overnight cruise to experience the bay in all her glory. Activities include a visit to a floating fishing village or a visit to a cave depending on the boat’s itinerary and weather.

At the end of the day, join the cooking demonstration on board and happy hour. The boat will anchor while guests enjoy dinner.

It is truly a good morning in Vietnam when you wake up in the middle of Ha Long Bay. Try Tai Chi on the sundeck as the sun rises and munch on a light breakfast while the boat continues cruising among the karst
